Google CEO Sundar Pichai today unveiled its latest artificial intelligence (AI) language model, PaLM 2, at the Google I/O conference, challenging competitors such as OpenAI's GPT-4. Google also said PaLM 2 has been used to support 25 of its own features and products, including Bard, an AI chatbot (300024), as well as Google Docs, Slides and Worksheets.
PaLM 2 is an updated version of Google's PaLM language model released last April to challenge chatbot ChatGPT developer OpenAI's GPT-4.
